Final Eliminations

The first round of Eliminations for the Pro Mods are usually run on Friday night. That was the case at Gainesville. There were some classic match-ups and racing in that first round.

The race between doorslammer superstars and nitrous racers Bill Glidden and Rickie Smith saw Glidden strap a surreal .006 RT on the defending NHRA Pro Mod and, to add insult to injury, just drive away from the champ with a 5.946/242.71 to Smith’s 5.962/245.54.
