Note: This race was not that close as Singletary seemed to leave way early, but his R/T was modest at 1.45. Lawrence however was ‘tied to a post’, leaving the line .6tenths after the tree was activated. Singletary had low ET at 4.63 while Johnny Coleman claimed the speed honors at 166.93 mph.

The weatherman cooperated with the PSCA for this race, which is not always the case during springtime. The PSCA staff did their usual stellar job of operating the event -- including handing this reporter the final results in a package before I could even ask. Their next event will be May 1-2 at Fontana, Calif.
