Glidden did his job on the starting line, putting a holeshot on Walsh with a .035 RT to Walsh’s .057, but the right lane just wouldn’t hold the power and Glidden shook the tires and watched Walsh drive the Precision Turbo/Walsh Motorsports Camaro to a 5.872-second pass at 249.12 mph. Glidden’s Mickey Thompson-sponsored Mustang could only manage a tire-shaking 8.945 at 123.41.

It was Walsh’s second career Pro Mod win and he now leads the points standings.
