NMCA WEST Finals at Fontana, Calif.

The NMCA WEST held the 5TH Annual Mickey Thompson Finals on Oct. 16 at AAA Club Raceway at Fontana, Calif.

Greg Seth-Hunter (near lane) dominated the Pro Mod class setting Low ET at 4.131 and Top Speed at 185.00 mph. In the final round his ’07 Mustang ran 4.144/181.20 to take the win over the 4.210/166.19 for the ’69 Camaro of Gary Ross. The only other Pro Mod in competition was Mark Moffat’s ’93 Corvette, which lost to Ross in the first round.

James Lawrence (near lane) dominated the Limited Street class. His 2001 Camaro set Low ET at 4.485 seconds and Top Speed of 167.14 mph in the final round to get the win over the ’64 Chevy II of Ryan Jones, which ran 4.659/159.63.

It was a tri-fecta in Ultra Street as Mike Silva set Low ET (5.408) and Top Speed (127.38) and went on to take the win. His ’64 Chevy II turned in a 5.431/128.36 to beat out Kevin Watson’s 5.576/124.78.
