The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series took to The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the final two divisional events over five days of racing action. When the dust settled on Nov. 6, both Top Fuel and Pro Fuel championships were decided in the NHRA Harley-Davidson Drag Racing Series.

In the second round Frank Capone (near lane) lost power about 200 feet out and Turner ran 6.403 at 215.20 mph to move on to the final.
