Ken Etter enjoys racing at Auto Club Dragway and the DNB Engineering Stock/Super Stock Combo series. He won the series championship last year, and with his sweep of this event and third straight win this year, he holds a comfortable points margin over second place Tommy Brown. Etter opened the weekend driving his ’93 Dodge Shadow to a win over top qualifier Daran Summerton, and closed the weekend with a final round win over Rodger Comstock’s brand-new Ford Mustang. Etter took an easy win, as Comstock red-light on his 8.880, 153 mph blast with his Factory Super Stocker.

The SoCal Super Street series opening event saw Mike Blodgett Sr. and Dave Gotts record identical 10.889 elapsed times in the final, with the win light going to Blodgett via his .009 reaction time.

Triple B Farms sponsored the race. Dennis Blehm drove his ’67 Nova to the winner’s circle on Sunday with a .001 reaction time and 10.906 time to defeat points leader Tim Daniel.
