That’s supercharger legend Jim Oddy (middle) watching Jr. Ward heat the tires.

The final round came down to long-time rivals Jr. Ward and Michael Campolucci under an overcast sky about to pour down rain. The two teams quickly turned their cars around after the last qualifier and we’re ready to do battle in front of the packed house of fans that truly showed their appreciation for these cars while making their way past them down the return road after each run. Both cars left hard with Campolucci taking the starting line advantage but Ward quickly made up the real estate and took the win with his quickest run of the weekend stopping the clocks with a 4.91 ET at 142 MPH to Campolucci’s 5.06 at 139 MPH.

The Good Vibrations Motorsports “Best Reaction Time” winner was awarded to Al Niespodzinski Jr., who was the quickest throughout the event with a best reaction time of .084.
