Then to close the show it was Richard Smith (far lane) and Derek Snelson in their jet funny cars blazing down the Firebird strip into the dark of night.

There was plenty to do in the Treasure Valley of Idaho that Saturday evening, with Travis Pastrana and his Nitro Circus in town, a 125-lap super late model show at the circle track, a huge car show, plus other entertainment, concerts and the like going on. Yet the fans filled Firebird Raceway for the Great American Fox Hunt, and they saw an excellent show. Hats off to the fans the racers and the New Crew for putting on an excellent event.
