Paul Lee in the McLeod Clutches/Worsham machine left first against veteran Gary Densham and both cars struck the tires going sideways in a severe pedalfest. The Big Show cars only ran 330 feet as they are way too quick for this track presently. It was the 2015 NHRA Champ against the “rookie” Brandon Welch in the next go, with Welch leaving on the Champ but as they crossed the 330 point it was all Del Worsham at 2.547, 131.73 mph to the kid’s 3.136, 82.67 mph. (Tim Marshall photo)
