Unfortunately, the Top Fuel Bike final fell victim to the rain, frustrating Jan Sturla Hegre, who had pushed his PB numbers to a 6.1819/224.43 in the opening round, and Thomas Pettersson who had carded a pair of 6.8s to lower his best mark to a 6.8876 and taking the championship in his rookie year.
