Other notables

There were a couple of American entries at Tierp over the course of the weekend, with Tommy Grimes and Bo Butner having differing experiences in Super Twin Bike and Stock/Super Stock.

Grimes was in attendance as a replacement rider for Per Bengtsson whilst the latter recovers from health issues, unfortunately The Beast blown parallel twin wasn’t playing ball leaving Grimes as a DNQ but we suspect he will be back. (Ivan Sansom photo)

Butner on the other hand was debuting the Cobra Jet put together by Håkan Prytz just prior to the event, and, after qualifying with an 8.5994 (-0.200 under the FSS/A index) to put him at 38th on the ladder, looked set fair to rip his way through the field with the quickest car in eliminations before the rain came.
