Pro Mod seemed to be a slow burner as the first two qualifying sessions yielded just the single racer in the fives (somewhat inevitably points leader Michael Gullqvist), but come Saturday the top four were all sub-six second (Gullqvist at 5.8819, Åke Persson with a new PB of 5.9102, David Vegter with a new PB of 5.9586 and Mats Eriksson with a 5.9842) and it took a 6.0 to get into the top seven.

The Saturday show also saw a race within a race as the Swedish title was also decided on an eight car ladder that almost came to nought as the two finalists, Eriksson and Anders Nilsson damaged their engines in the semis and only Nilsson was able to return to stage for the win.
