Anders Nilsson

The eliminator delivered up a significant number of surprises, not least the departure of Gullqvist after a no-show in the quarters. Prior to that Vegter and Eriksson had repeated their 5.9s demonstrating consistency in their Adam Flamholc inspired set-ups (another ‘tuned by Flamholc’ Håkan Persson nearly joined the five second club with a 6.01 at the same stage) with Persson (benefitting from the tuning advice of Jonnie Lindberg) went deeper with a 5.896/245.63. By the time we got to the semifinal stage all bar Eriksson had departed, a 5.986 progressing the Green Goblin Crown Vicky to the final four and a tweak to a 5.964 defeated Arthur Andersson to place him in the final.

Bruno Bader

On the lower side of the ladder Bruno Bader, not for the first time in his career, using comfortable six zeroes to make his way to the semis and a no-show from Micke Johansson handed him a solo to the final.

Alas the rain curtailed activities, leaving points leader Gullqvist relieved at the lack of opportunity for both finalists to gain further ground on him, but Bader and Eriksson have moved to within striking distance in second and third respectively.
