’Twas the week before Christmas and down at the strip,

The racers were freezing and couldn’t find grip

The 2016 version of Steve Barcak’s Nostalgia Reunion & Pontiac Heaven was pushed back to December by the Wild Horse Pass drag strip officials. Determined to offer followers the yearly event, Steve continued with the late date. He then ran into a cold front which was mild compared to temps in the northern states but cold and windy for Arizona.

Still on Saturday, during the Nostalgia portion of the program, a good turnout of racers graced the track and provided some great late season action.
