Mike, I have turbo 350 w/10" JW 3500 converter. Lately I hear a high pitched whistle sound when you gas it from about 40 mph or faster. I thought it was power steering belt and tightened it, but still here the sound. Any ideas what that could be............ Doug Birch Indialantic, Florida

Noises can drive you crazy. If you think the noise might be the transmission or converter, you can inspect the transmission pan for debris. If it looks clean, put on a new power steering belt.
