: What have been successes and/or important milestones along the way?

EE: Driver of the Year in 1995, Driver and Rookie of the year in 2000, won the 2004 Houston Nationals in Super Gas, went to final rounds in Pro Stock, set Pro Stock world speed record at 213.57 MPH, set all records for females in Pro Stock

: Has the Pro Stock community finally become a group where gender isn’t an issue in any way? Why or why not?

EE: Gender has never been an issue in Pro Stock. It’s purely based on ability, opportunity and sponsors. Hopefully there’ll be more women drivers, but driving is all ability, opportunity and sponsorship.

: We see women drivers, but few women crew chiefs or crew members with critical responsibilities. Why do you think that is?

EE: There are actually lots of women behind the scenes in motorsports in general.
