Narrowing the choice

You are exactly right about the NHRA Pro Mod situation. The NHRA never wanted the class because it originated in the old IHRA. Now if you want to see Pro Mods, it's the ADRL or NHRA.

Edited for content?

How does NHRA "sell" the Alcohol Classes to their sponsor/advertisers, but NOT Pro Mod? Does Lucas Oil pick up the tab for ESPN to produce a one-hour weekly program that features the Alcohol FCs and Dragsters because no one else will pay for the production? And now that the Friday program on ESPN3 is no longer an unedited live feed but a full-fledged 3-hour homage to the Professional Classes, what are the chances that ANY coverage featuring anything other than the Fuel and Alcohol classes will EVER be shown? And if the Pro Mod drivers are upset, what about the rest of the Sportsman Classes who are being left out?

Say, is this political commentary?

Maybe NHRA should buy time on PBS; they could get consistent air times (Big Bird’s time slot).

Thanking Jim Baker

Thanks so much for the Paul’s Auto story & pics! All the baddest bowties in SoCal ran out of Paul's back in the day....

Willard Wright's plain-Jane white '55 150 was another favorite of mine being that I'm especially fond of '55s - one in my garage.

Thanks for the memories and glad to hear he's still with us and love that green Camaro. Yeah!
