Sam Berardi stands up his ’57 Chevy in 10.5 competition.

Pro Mod driver Tommy D’Aprile won his second Snowbirds title driving Mel Bush’s ’62 Chevy Belair. Scott Braskett broke his ’53 Vette’s engine in his semifinal win over Dan Bandish and was unable to run in the final where D’Aprile ran a stout 5.991/237.96.

Tony Christian ripped off a 4.134 at 176.57 mph to take the pole in the Outlaw Automatic Pro Mod. This class ran eighth mile. Unfortunately, the transmission in his Grand Am failed to go into first gear after he backed up from his burnout in the second round and he was done.
