The ’02 Cougar of Brooksville, Indiana’s Tony Bischoff was at the top of the qualifiers with a 6.395/219.45. He lost in the semi to Micke.

Vinny Budano brought his Boyz from NY ’68 Camaro from Hicksville, NY, and qualified in the second spot with a 6.42/219.42. He uncharacteristically lit the red bulb in the first round – by only one-thousandth of a second.

Jimmy Marino got the benefit of Budano’s red light, but his .384 reaction time in the next round against Steve Miller put him out of the competition. His ’04 Mustang is based in Palm Beach Gardens and was at his first NMCA race.

Chris Rini’s Carmel, NY-based ’07 Dodge Stratus boasts a Pat Musi-built Hemi, but his holeshot in the first round still couldn’t overcome Steve King.

Vincent DeMieri came down from Michigan and qualified #8 in his ’06 GTO with a 6.615/215.98. He lost in Round 2 to Mark Micke.
