Del Worsham raced to his first win of the season and first win with Alan Johnson Al-Anabi Racing at the 13th annual O’Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Ill. Antron Brown, Jeg Coughlin and Eddie Krawiec also won.

Although the Friday session was rained out, Saturday and Sunday made up for it with great racing action.

Two records were broken over the course of the weekend at Gateway: Greg Stanfield broke the track speed record with a Pro Stock qualifying pass of 210.37 and 2008 PSM winner Andrew Hines (shown) broke the national ET mark with a time of 6.860.  (Ron Lewis photo)
