Does Toyota manufacture the engines/drivetrain for cars running with a Toyota body in NHRA dragracing and NASCAR?

Toyota? Wow! You can tell the difference by looking? I didn't know there were different branded Funny Cars in the big show. Who knew? Just kidding. I just couldn't help myself.

The answer is no, Toyota only offered up their blessing to put their name on whatever it really is along with some cash to the teams. The same holds true for the other brands. The chassis is custom built by the teams or a pro chassis builder and the engines are the modern race derivative of the Chrysler 426 Hemi.
