Maybe it was because Texas has been suffering a drought this year and any chance to get near water was welcome, or maybe it was because the City of San Angelo heavily promoted the event throughout the community, but whatever the reason, the crowds watching the June 25-26 Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series Showdown in San Angelo presented by Magnaflow were huge.
