Also headlining the event each year is a gathering of the area’s most legendary drag racers including names like Raymond Beadle, Vance Hunt, Bobby Langley, Dale Emery and the nitro burning cackle cars “The Scorpion”, “Rat Patrol” and “Gizzle Hopper”.
     
The 2011 racing line-up featured headline teams including Gene Snow’s A/Fuel Dragster driven by Chase Copeland, the James Dean-themed ADRL Extreme Pro Mod of Gaylen Smith, the “Texas Tremor” Outlaw Fuel Altered of Jimmy Jones, the “Glory Days” jet dragster and funny car of Jerry McCart, the “Mike Burkhart” tribute Funny Car of John Hale, the “Blue Max” tribute Funny Car of Ronny Young, the “Mexican Revolution” tribute Funny Car owned by Bobby Rex and wheeled by Don Sosenka, the nitro burning Outlaw Pro Mod Impala of Bebo Chandler as well as several members of both the Texas Blown Fuel and Southwest Junior Fuel Association.

Also on the bill were many members of the Texas Beat The Heat organization and over a dozen outlaw grudge racers ready to strut their stuff in front of thousands of fans who had been flooding through the gates all afternoon.
