ProCharger 275 Drag Radial was the Young Brothers’ show all weekend long. Kevin Young (shown) took the top qualifying spot with a 7.63 at 190 miles per hour, and his brother, Jeff, was only a few ticks behind in the number-two spot. The final round found the brothers paired up. In an amazing holeshot win, Jeff sawed the tree down on Kevin to take the win.

AMP Performance / McLeod NA 10.5 had some stellar passes in spite of the heat. Tony Aneian took the top spot with an 8.35 at 163 mph. He found himself in the final round, facing Randy Jones. As the tree dropped, Aneian was away first and held on to the stripe taking a reaction time win, 8.40 to a quicker, losing 8.35.

ARP Outlaw 8.5 was the Cedric Washington show, as he took the top qualifier spot with an 8.42 at 137 miles per hour, and then proceeded to the final round. There, he faced T. Wallace. Wallace took the reaction time advantage, but Washington was able to run him down on the top end and take the win light.

In B&M Open Comp Dustin Lee scored the top qualifier spot with a .001-second reaction time, and made it to the final round, where his 11.81 on and 11.80 index defeated Mike Nordahl.
