Dan Kuenster got the Clay Kossuth & Sons Star of the Race award.

Round two started with two of the senior racers in the group matching up. Dennis Eudaley’s red light handed the win to Krueger. Beren’s .03 light was too much for Rosie Kossuth to overcome, moving his silver Hemi Plymouth on to round 3. Missouri’s BJ Bax defeated Wisconsin’s own Charlie Kuenster. A red light ended Corimac Frees’s first series race, allowing Hoffman to move on. Steven Glubke’s rare red light allowed the always-tough Max Wedge ’64 Plymouth of Jeff Frees to continue on.

Steven Glubke's original 1964 Dodge Lightweight was a very worthy winner of the Mega Parts Heritage Award.

Round three had fellow Wisconsin racers and friends, Russ Berens and Jeff Frees matching up. This was one of the best races in Eliminations, with Berens’s .05 light and 10.004 on his 10.00 index edging out Frees’s .101 reaction and 9.76 on his 9.75 index.

The next race was even closer. Series points leader Krueger and 2013 Champion Hoffman’s race met everyone’s expectations. Their reactions were within .001 of each other, but Krueger once again ran dead on his index with an 11.003 to Hoffman’s too fast 10.989 on his matching 11.00 index. Bax and his ’65 GTO got the bye into the semis.
