The Pro Mod eliminations ladder had something of a lopsided look due to a combination of pre-event and post-qualifying withdrawals, augmented by what would end up as a trio of shut-offs before staging during eliminations, the latter of these impacted on class rookie Bobby Wallace who had joined the fun mid-season in his Bickel-built Willys Coupe. The former Pro ET competitor picked up his first class round win when Roger Moore was shutoff with a leaking fuel union in the first round of eliminations, producing a weekend’s best of 6.6260/210 on the solo, but unfortunately was counted out in the semifinal match-up with Garrett when a parachute popped out whilst heading towards the staging beams.
The small Comp Eliminator field saw Guido Uhlir take the trophy back to Germany, winning the event over Robin Orthodoxou’s A/A entry with a 7.7357/178.46 (on the BB/A 8.16 index) placing the silver Opel Manta just over a foot ahead of Orthodoxou’s 7.1004/192.11 (on a 7.56) at the finishline.
