Both drivers left the line quickly with Carnes running a perfect pass of 8.000 to take the win over Wilson break out attempt.

Don Nave finished the year with his second NDRL Championship.

PRO 7.50 also had a championship to decide as Wayne Sears led Pat Malloy by less than two rounds. Both driver qualified in the middle of the group with Ric Burdine and his Mustang stealing the show running .003 over his index to take the top spot over another dead on lap from Michelle Lewis taking her dragster down the track running .006 over. Derek Mccuistion, Brandon Anderson, and Sears rounded out the top 5.

Malloy took a chop at the tree and hit it forcing Jarrod Bradshaw under, advancing Malloy to the final along with Sears, who advanced on a bye run.


Malloy swung for the fence again with a .013 reaction time but was under .02 under, handing the win to Sears.

Ross Racing Engines PRO 7.00 rounded out the day for the NDRL classes. 2012 Champ Steve Walczak, fresh from an engine swap, took his Arias-powered Bantam to the top spot running .04 over his 7.00 index. Local favorite Sue Christophersen came home second in her beautiful red ’57 Chevy F/C running a 7.06. Steve Knopp, Robbie Freels, and Larry Harlen rounded out the top 5.
