Australian season comes down to final event

Jason Arbery drives a Ford Capri.

The ANDRA Grand Final will be held April 6-7 at Perth Motorplex and defending Top Sportsman Australian Champion Jason Arbery is one of four racers sitting on maximum points. The other three are Darren Saliba, Ricky Smith and Vlado Turic.

“I guess you can forget about the whole season now, we are at the pointy end and it all comes down to this last meeting,” Arbery said. “My competition are all guys that you always need to bring you’re a-Game to; they will put you on the trailer as quick as look at you. I have a slight advantage with bonus points, so if we can get through the first couple of rounds we will be well on our way to defending the title.”
