Pat Musi Racing Engines has announced the addition of experienced engine builder Paul Hoskins to its team.

Hoskins has been part of four NHRA Pro Stock championship teams, most recently as lead engine builder with Tanner Gray and Gray Motorsports. Before that he worked with Pro Stock veteran Mike Edwards for five years and also Jeg Coughlin Jr. and Jim Yates while spending 16 years with Dart Machinery.   [12/11/19]

NHRA Funny Car racer Alexis DeJoria was one of three inductees enshrined into the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame recently in Rosemont, IL.

DeJoria, a seven-time NHRA national event winner, joined an elite group of Italian-American athletes when she is recognized as a member of The Hall’s Class of 2019. Joining DeJoria were NFL star Glen Carano and the late Ralph ‘Babe’ Serpico. DeJoria also shared the stage with auto racing legend Mario Andretti as he was presented with The Hall’s first Lifetime Achievement Award.

DeJoria will return to NHRA Funny Car competition next season.

Longtime NHRA nitro team owner and tuner Roland Leong was honored last month at the Hawaii State Capitol to salute 55 years of being an ambassador for the state through his work in motorsports.
