Cristian Quadra will be driving one of the new Mustang Pro Stocks this season.
In addition to taking on the task of developing their own engine building program, Team Quadra is switching to Jerry Haas-built race cars featuring Mustang bodies. He will continue to campaign last season’s Camaro until the third Haas Mustang is delivered in May. [02/03/20]
Austin Prock and the Montana Brand / Rocky Mountain Twist team, headed by Mike Green and newcomer to John Force Racing Joe Barlam, showed some serious promise when they laid down a 3.682-second pass on Friday during testing at Las Vegas. The run, which clocked in at 333.08 mph, is an unofficial career best for the 2019 Auto Club Road to the Future Award winner. [02/03/20]
NHRA Heritage Series regular Jerry Kumre Jr. will again be behind the wheel of the Eakins Family Racing A/Fuel Dragster. He will make his national event debut at the 60th NHRA Winternationals held at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona, Feb. 6-9.
“We had originally planned on racing together again at the NHRA Finals in November, but scheduling didn’t work out. Getting to race at the opening event of the 2020 season and at the 60th Winternationals is such an honor. I am so glad to get to work with Randy Eakins, Brett Johansen and their crew once again,” stated Kumre. [02/03/20]
