Danny Palm, who was competing in the Heavy Street category at the recent World Street Nationals in Orlando, didn’t have a good experience at the races Friday but at least he has a sense of humor.

After qualifying in the sixth spot at a 8.54 at 155.24 mph Danny hit the wall during Friday night’s last session and tore the nose off of his 632” big block Chevy powered ’84 Malibu Station Wagon, an impact so hard that it pushed the engine back to the fire wall and ripped all the motor mounts off of the chassis.

Luckily Danny was unhurt and after a few adult beverages he expressed his thoughts with a sign in the window of his wrecked race car.
