PDRA at Martin, Michigan

Harris makes it four in a row

PDRA Pro Nitrous racer Jason Harris kept his 2014 perfect win/loss record intact with his fourth consecutive win at the June 27-29 Professional Drag Racers Association’s Summer Drags at Western Michigan’s historic U.S. 131 Motorsports Park.

Harris got the win when his opponent in the final round, Lizzy Musi, had a nitrous solenoid stick and was shut off on the start line.

Joining Harris as multiple event winners in PDRA competition were Pro Extreme racer Randell Reid, veteran Mountain Motor Pro Stock competitor Brian Gahm with his first victory in recent years, Eric Latino, who got his third Turbo/Pro Boost class win of the year and Eric McKinney’s second straight in Pro Extreme Motorcycle.

Sportsman class victories went to Aaron Glaser with his breakthrough Magnafuel Top Sportsman win, Jeff Mandell for the second consecutive event in STT Safety Equipment Top Dragster, and Isaac Evans and Scottie Taylor in Huddleston Performance Pro Jr. Dragster and Top Jr. Dragster, respectively.

With a reported 178 entries for this race, it was the largest number of competitors entered at a PDRA event in their inaugural season.
