Can anyone stop Armen Maghdessian and his wild, flamed ’57 Chevy? Armen, from Westminster, Calif., took another Mickey Thompson Wild Street victory and widened his points lead with a 5.226 victory over Las Vegas racer Jason Kenzevich’s 5.607.

Another potentially unstoppable force was found in the Magnafuel Xtreme Drag Radial class as points leader Roger Holder, Jr., of Bakersfield, Calif., won a Camaro-on-Camaro battle by beating David Singletary in the final 5.045 to 5.607.

Magnafuel Outlaw 10.5 was a virtually solo effort by Lennox, California’s Enrique Soto, who ran a 5.674 against Scott Slotten from Henderson, Nev., who broke off the starting line.

The PSCA race season has five races in the book with two to come. The series returns in September with the Mickey Thompson Tires West Coast Shootout on Sept. 21.
