The 2019 Xtreme Dragbike Association (XDA) ultimate battle is scheduled for Sept. 20-22, at Maryland International Raceway (MDIR) for the 27th annual DME Racing Fall Nationals.
In the sixth and final battle of the year, twelve classes and over 800 racers will compete for the 2019 XDA Championship titles. The DME Racing Fall Nationals will feature 6-second, 220+mph Pro Street Motorcycles, 7-second, 190-mph Real Street bikes, 3-second eighth-mile Pro Xtreme motorcycles, and the "Running of the Bulls" Grudge Shootouts.
This event for the first time will feature a Second Chance race for all first-round losers of the 32-bike field, with no entry fee and a $1,000 payout. And for racers that don't qualify for the show, XDA will be run a B class that pays out $100 to the winner. However, if forty or more motorcycles enter the class, XDA will bump the B class payout to $1,000. [09/12/19]

The NHRA has announced the schedule for the 2020 Mickey Thompson Tires NHRA Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series, which will compete at 10 of the 24 events on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule.

A re-energized John Force will compete at the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil with a chance to win his 17th Funny Car championship. After the points were re-racked for the six-event Countdown, he is only 20 points behind the leader, teammate Robert Hight.
After a 38-race stretch during which he never climbed higher than No. 7 in points, the 16-time champion has been top three the last four months and top six all season long. His win last month in Seattle secured his 35th consecutive Top 10 finish and his 32nd season with at least one victory. [09/12/19]
Adjustable Coil-Over Shocks for G-Body Vehicles from Strange
Strange Engineering continues to evolve its line of suspension components by introducing the all new front single and double adjustable coil-over shock for 1978-88 G-Body vehicles. The aluminum body shocks are compact, lightweight and allow for easy side height adjustment. The adjustable valving accommodates a wide range of control for both the extension and compression settings. Both the single and double adjustable Strange aluminum body shocks can be fully rebuilt and are available with custom valving upon request. A wide range of spring rates are available separately.
