AGENT 1320
Ms. Force, the winningest female Funny Car driver in NHRA history, is married to IndyCar driver Graham Rahal. Rumor is that he may be looking at a nitro team in 2020 – for her or him? [01/24/19]
When JFR hired super-tuner Jimmy Prock away from the DSR organization in 2017 the Agent’s sources told him that part of the program that got Prock to leave DSR was the promise that Jimmy’s son Austin would eventually get a ride in a Prock-tuned JFR Funny Car.
Even though Courtney Force is leaving the team as a driver, a reported lack of sponsorship has caused JFR to field just three teams for the 2019 season and the young Prock wouldn’t be driving any of them.
The Agent was told today that Austin Prock has quit the JFR program and taken a job at DSR. [01/24/19]
With Grubnic and his team tuning, the only Force daughter left driving should be considered one of the favorites to dethrone the current champ, Steve Torrence. [01/24/19]
The Mid Atlantic .90 Association has announced their 2019 schedule of 10 races on five weekends.
April 27 & 28: Atco Dragway, Atco, NJ
June 15 & 16: North vs. South .90 Shootout, Numidia Dragway, Numidia, PA
July 13 & 14: Uncle Buck Pig Roast, Cecil Co. Dragway, Rising Sun, MD
July 27 & 28: Atco Dragway
Sept. 21 & 22: Cecil Co. Dragway [01/24/19]
Dodge//SRT and Mopar have signed a multi-year extension of their partnership with Don Schumacher Racing that began in 2003.
Matt Hagan will carry the Mopar brand as primary sponsor of his Funny Car in 12 events this season and Leah Pritchett’s Top Fuel dragster will carry the brand at nine events. She will begin defense of her Factory Stock Showdown championship in her Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak at the Gatornationals.
Jack Beckman, Ron Capps, Tommy Johnson Jr., and Tony Schumacher will carry Dodge//SRT and Mopar on their cars. So only Hagan and Pritchett are scheduled for the pre-season test at Phoenix. [01/24/19]
Two classes for Late Model Muscle Cars have been added to the Motor State KnockOut program: Stock and Modified. The eighth-mile No Prep event features Big Tire, Small Tire, and Outlaw Street classes and will be held in June at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, MI. [01/24/19]
In addition, DENSO is the title sponsor of the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway scheduled for April 5-7 and in August extended the title sponsorship through 2021. DENSO has been a supporting sponsor of the entire NHRA Mello Yello Series for the last three years. [01/24/19]
GM LS Drag Race Oil Pan from Moroso

Features a trap door baffle assembly, anti-climb baffle and anti-slosh baffle to keep oil contained in the oil pump pickup area. Oil pan has a billet aluminum rail with a fabricated aluminum sump and clears 4.25” stroke with most steel rods.
